Overview
I'm a multi-disciplinary artist, illustrator and graphic designer from Amman, Jordan based in Chicago, Illinois.
With over six years of experience, my work as a designer spans branding and visual identity, illustration, advertising, and packaging design, specializing in hand drawn branding and logo work.
As an artist, illustrator and pattern designer my work is inspired by my desire to explore ordinary life, memories, nostalgia, and the intersection of culture, heritage and nature. I find a lot of inspiration in the natural world, often weaving botanical patterns and motifs into my work.
Art and Surface Pattern Design
I work across multiple mediums, mainly colored pencil, watercolor, mixed media, and digital art. My creative process is deeply intertwined with reflective and organized experimentation. Whether I'm using the patient strokes of colored pencils, the fluid nature of watercolors, or the textured richness of digital mediums, I try to bring a sense of personal connection and intention to each piece of work.
As a surface designer and pattern illustrator, I try to impart the same sense of connection into my pattern designs. I am always working to expand my pattern library with a personal touch and on-trend designs.
